A Merry Christmas Mail Art

This is one of my last 3 Christmas mail art to share.
The steps to it.
1) Use a pattern paper as the base of the card. Distress the edges with the scissors distressing technique and ink it with vintage photo distress ink.
2) Cut out a rectangle piece with a scallop edge from another pattern paper and distress it using the scissors distressing technique. Ink it with black soot distress ink.
3) Cut out a square piece from a white card stock and distress it using the scissors distressing technique again. Ink it with vintage photo and black soot distress ink. Draw a circle in the middle of it and doodle around it. Cut out a Christmas clip art and ink it's edges with frayed burlap distress ink. Paste it in the middle of the drawn circle.
4) Hand stitch some zig-zag stitches vertically on the left of the card and add some liquid pearls dots (silver) on the scallop edges.
5) Hand stitch a strip of ruffled pattern paper across the card horizontally. Add a flower to the left of the strip.
6) The title is actually a clip art print out which had been cut out and ink on it's edges using black soot distress ink. The title had been covered with glossy accents to give some dimensions and glossiness to the card.
7) The address box had been stamped on a white card stock and cut it out. Ink the edges using vintage photo distress ink.
I've been super busy getting some last minute packing done and the whole family is so excited about this trip. Do you all want to follow along my trip with me sharing some pics? I'll try to take more pics and share them here whenever I can. I've also created lots of projects to be shared while I'm away. And do keep an eye for Queenscraps Nov kit which I'll be featuring sometime around 15th Oct. Love this kit! It consists of one of my favourite manufacturer's line of pattern papers and embellishments!
Sources: Card stock: Bazzill; Pattern Paper: Scenic Route; Stamps: Autumn Leaves; Inks: Ranger Distress Ink, Tsukineko Staz On; Others: Ranger Glossy Accents, Ranger Liquid Pearls, Christmas clip arts, zig pens, Prima flowers, floss for stitching, Glue Dots and other adhesives.
